With over 30 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to empowering individuals and organizations to achieve their highest potential. From coaching elite athletes and entrepreneurial sports leaders globally to steering international organizations toward sustainable impact, I have remained committed to excellence and transformation throughout my journey.
I founded Valor Growth Advisors on the belief that true business success transcends mere hard work. It demands valor—the courage to lead decisively—and the strategic wisdom to implement proven business systems that accelerate profit.
At Valor Growth Advisors, I leverage the Profit Acceleration System™ and a meticulously crafted coaching process to empower business owners to build robust, profitable enterprises.
Profit is more than a financial metric; it is the gateway to freedom. This freedom allows business owners to dedicate time to what truly matters—their families, their teams, their communities, and the enduring legacies they aspire to create.
My mission is clear: guide business owners to lead with valor, accelerate profit, reclaim time, and amplify impact.
Failure Isn’t Fatal. It’s Feedback.
In 2014, The Ohio State Buckeyes lost to Virginia Tech 35–21. The loss exposed what needed to change. Through honest evaluation, strong coaching, and a willingness to adapt, the Buckeyes won their next 13 games—culminating in a 42–20 victory over No. 2 Oregon in the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship.
A decade later, they responded to a painful 13–10 home loss to Michigan by outscoring four playoff opponents 145–75 and defeating Notre Dame 34–23 for the program’s ninth national championship.
The lesson is simple: A setback does not determine your outcome. Your response does.
Failure can reveal blind spots, challenge assumptions, and show us where growth is needed. A good coach helps us see that feedback clearly, turn it into a plan, and remain accountable as we move forward.
I learned this firsthand. In the 1990s, while pursuing my master’s degree and supporting my family, I built a successful window and gutter cleaning business serving residential and commercial clients throughout greater Chicago.
Later, I launched businesses in e-commerce and home air purification. Both failed—and both sharpened my judgment, resilience, and humility.
I have also spent years doing entrepreneurial work in the nonprofit sector, both in the United States and internationally, including Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Italy, Albania, Croatia, India, Tajikistan, and China.
That combination—success and failure, business and nonprofit work, local and global experience—is what I uniquely bring to coaching. I know what it means to build, stumble, adjust, and begin again. I've experienced the benefit of having seasoned coaches in my life not only in the workplace but as a college football player at Miami University in the late 1980's.
My role is to help you turn experience into insight, insight into action, and setbacks into forward momentum.
